Default Gekko vittatus egg! advice please.

Well I am new to geckos and only got my palm gecko a few weeks a go and last night she laid a single egg on the glass.

I am very excited but it is rather unexpected! Is it likely to be fertile? can I tell by candling? she lives alone but I assume she was wild caught. I have googled a bit but have not found much clear information. Do I leave the egg where it is or remove it to incubate? What temps and humidity?

Thanks for any help.

Since only one egg was laid it is most likely not fertile. It is common for a gecko laying egg(s) for the first time not to be fertile. Her next time she should have two eggs and either one or both will be fertile.

I would still treat it like it is firtile. Just leave it alone and you should be able to tell in a week or less if it is. It will start looking a little pinkish if it is.
