Default Big and little Tokay's

I have had Fang for a while. He would call a LOT. I was told he is a male. I decided to get him a friend (don't know if they are social critters or not) I got what I think is a female. I didn't realise the HUGE difference in size till I put her with him. He is about 11" and maybe 2" wide. She is maybe 7" long and maybe 3/4" wide. He has stopped calling and started making strange gluttering sounds. My question is if it is a male will they be ok togeather? If it is a female will he hurt her because she is so small? Here are the best photos I could get of her (she is VERY skittish).

They should be just fine together. Males are usually alot bigger than females. But like any animal when you first put them together keep a close eye on them for a few weeks. My opinion on tokays once you get a pair together breeding, dont ever seperate them unless you have to.

If it is a male then you will probably have a bad fight on your hands.

They have been togeather a week. Mr. Fang spends most of his time on the side of his cage, Mrs Fang is usually hiding. I actually got to see her out and about today She even stayed for a few seconds so I could take some pics of her (but couldn't get a belly shot).

A quick update: Well Mr and Mrs Fang are getting along. I have seen them both out at the same time. A really funny thing. Mr Fang use to call LOUD almost every night. Now he will call but it really sounds different. Almost like his battiery is running down or something It is softer and MUCH slower. Any ideas to why? She is in much better shape. The last few days he has called 5x's or more each day, but it is the soft slow call. Any ideas on his behavior? Thanks
