Nice smithii baby -I envy you, 5 years without finding a healthy male and no light on the horizon.

You might try just finding a male. If it eats it may recover in time.

I once had a big male (38 cm) , which died from Cryptosporidiosis after 1.5 years-my fault, my herp room got infested and I did not have a close enough eye on not transferring potential pathogens between tanks.
Since than I got two males. One died within its first week of quarantine, the second one not muchlater.
I am not a newbie, but here, smithii come in rarely and if at all, then with a heavy parasiteload and very stressed

As always, Brian, beautiful gecko!!
Love them green orbs!
How long did the eggs incubate, and is there another hatchling on the way?

Ingo, sorry about your crypto experience. Its a horrible and brutal thing to have to go through. Been there, done that, hopefully never again!
