Default help! my skunk gecko won't eat

I have had my new skunk gecko for about 4 weeks now. Since I have got him he hasn't ate. He might of had half a cm long cricket, but thats about it. I set him up a nice tank with branches to climb on, lighting and everything. Could it be that he wants to eat a live cricket? What should I try guys, anything would be of great help thanks

You should be feeding him live crickets in the first place. Geckos usually wont eat dead crickets.

Yeah most people at petco are clueless. I dont see what the point of those dead crickets are. Your gecko is a hunter so he will want live crickets to attack and eat. They usually dont get a bowl of dead crickets handed to them in the wild so they dont know what to do with it. Also the movement of live crickets stimulates a feeding response.

How much crickets do you suggest I drop in his tank at once. I do not want them going uneaten overnight as the noise will drive me crazy

Just start off with 2-3 appropriate sized crickets and make sure he eats them. Really you shouldn't need to feed more than 5 every other day.
