Default Is this viv cool for my golden?

12x12x18 .at this point its fully set up and i was wondering if its got enough stuff going on for a golden to feel safe, and also i was wondering if its big enough for him, ive heard some people saying that they need really big enclosures to be happy, but i feel like this ones okay what do you guys think?

If your golden is a young hatchling it will work for a little while,if it is a adult you should only use that cage to hold him in while you are going out to get him a bigger one. Other than that it looks nice.

I second Cliff. And one more point: It looks nice, but upon closer inspection, there is not much shelter in. You should add some larger vertically orientated pieces of bark for the gecko to hide behind. Best places for that are in teh upper fourth of the tank. Also you still have to add branches of a diameter of more than 1" to provide additional climbing opportunities.
The plastic ivy covered stick may look nice, but will not be used for climbing. Therefore you need branches with smohther surface-and the thicker, the better.

should i take the ivy off of the stick then so that he can use it for climbing?

mine love 1.5-3" bamboo tubes..... they also dig on cork flats leaned up against the side of the tank. try those and you'll have a happy gecko.

oh, as far as tank size goes, I wouldn't keep a one in anything less than a 20gal. I'm currently keeping a trio in a 29gal and they love it!
