My second Tokay (hopefully male)...
Hello again everyone,
Here are some pics of my new (hopefully male) Tokay Gecko that I picked up on Monday. Still very flightly and defensive, but has some nice colours on him and looks healthy enough. There are some comparison shots of my existing Female and the new, younger male too to show the size difference.
I hope to breed these two together in the near future, but for the time being I'm raising the new male in a small Faunarium with a heatpad, cocopeat substrate (might swap it for papertowel), and corkbark hide, and the female resides in the 30G ExoTerra which will hopefully house them later on. Didn't want to risk putting the new Tokay in straight away with the size difference, and I'd rather he was in something small so I can keep an eye on him and his food. He hasn't eaten yet, but I expected as much.
