A while back i read that someone had put a paper towel roll in their goldens cage and that it used it as both a hide and a basking spot, but that they had to replace it often, so i went out and bought a kitchen sink thingy made out of PVC pipe and hung it up just to see if he would ever use it and he hadnt for the first month it was in there but today i woke up and there he was basking on it. I go to whatever store fits your fancy and buy 2-2 1/2 inch PVC, cut to length and there you go. . I'm not sure if its cheaper buying it by 6 foot but it works for me. My animals like it. . its some times hard to find bamboo so PVC works just as well.
hahahahhahaahahaha that was really funny, yeah i have been looking around at pet stores in the area, Birmingham, AL and i have been tryna find those flukers extendable bamboo things with the suction cups on either end but as of yet no luck
Bamboo is nice looking but PVC works just as good and you dont need to drill out the inside for them to be able to get inside. Hell some times its cheaper than bamboo even.
