I have two skunk geckos and here's what I've learned. They hide during the day and only come out at night. I keep mine in a 37 gal tall tank but I've read that 20 gal is fine for 1 or 2. You can only keep one male in a tank, but can put 3 or 4 females in with him(or on their own.) Sexing is very easy in adults as the males have exaggerated bulges near the base of the tail. Younger ones can have false females. They love to climb, so put plenty of branches and the like in there with them. I made my hiding spots for them by placing fake hanging greenery over some cork bark and the like. I keep the temps at 82F during the day and 75F at night. as far as the humidity goes, I keep a very wet spot on one side, about 75% and the other side at about 60% with my hygrometer air the middle reading about 67% I have a water dish with some water kept in it and put several live plats(draceana, pea**** fern, ets.) to help keep humidity constant. I use a soil-like substrate for the same reason. Keep handeling to a minimum, but I have heard that if you get them young enough, they can become slightly manageable. I feed them 6-7 crickets per gecko every other day using a calcium/vitamin dusting every third day. One last thing, be sure to mist the tank/leaves at least once a day because skunks lick the water droplets off the leaves to drink. Hope you have fun with them, I know I do.
