Question Can I Keep Mealworm Beatles in My White Lined's Cage?

Today when i was feeding my whiteline i lifted up the water bowl to change the water and foud a mealworm turning into a beatle. can i keep that in there, or do i take it out.

It wont hurt anything. Most likely your white line will just eat it.

you should take it out because its bad for their digestion since they have a hard shell plus they like eat into anything. i had two of em that ate into my foam rock back drop and it was a bitch getting them out as well

If it is just a couple here and there it will not hurt them. If he was feeding them as a primary diet then they could hurt his animal.

That is why I don't use any of those foam back grounds. They are more of a pain then what they are worth.

Lol the foam backround came with my exo tera terrarium, and its nice for hidin the cables to my large waterfall and fogger

I had roaches start a breeding colony behind one of the foam backgrounds that was a pain in the butt to clean out of the tokays cage once i figured out why he was never eating what i put in the cage for him...he has an all you can eat buffet at night.

Stupid backgrounds!!

I had dozens of crickets hiding there for months!! What a stupid idea to make backgrounds in foam... :S
