My male golden gecko( gekko ulikovskii ) keeps biting my female one, he also does these weird barking sounds at night then chases her. what should I do? besides moving the female or the male to a different tank
try posting up some clear well lit pics of the vent area on your female. none of those dark, blurry pics from 2 feet away through the glass. your "female" is probably a male. we'll help you out and make sure you've got a true pair.
i dont know what to do know, i get the new male in like january and i dont know if the shop will take the gecko back. and my other tank is only a ten gallon and im sure my mom wont let me get another tank
did the clerk sell it to you as a female? If so you have some leverage - it wasn't what they sold you. explain that your male is now trying to kill the "female" they sold you and that you don't have room for 2 tanks. get your parents involved and talk to a manager if you need. no reason why they can't exchange it for a real female of even just store credit.
however, if you're the one that tried sexing it and they didn't tell you what it was you're SOL
