I was thinking about pinkies actually, bout i've red from some people it's kind of dangerous and from other people that it would be the best for those cases. So I really would like to know the opinion of the experts over here.
A pinkie every now and then is fine. But they're not suitable as an only feeder. Same with wax worms. If you're trying to put some weight on your animal, it's fine to supplement the normal diet with these. Just don't try to use them as a complete diet.
I agree with Riverside. I had a very thin tokay and needed to put some weight on him. I got a big container of wax worms and pretty much had to force feed him. He really didn't want to eat at the time, so I pissed him off enough to gape at me and then put a wax worm in for him to chomp on. Once in him mouth, he only spit out about one in five of them. Most he ate and after a few weeks of this he was much much better. After that I went back to crickets and only occasionally gave him wax worms. Hope this helps.
