I personally would add kin of a "central pice of wood". A bigger one, don't know if you get want I mean.

By the way, this is mine, let me know your opinion too.

Christian, nice looking viv. Good job. Also, could you please make your signature a bit smaller? It's really rather distracting being that large. Thanks.

That looks really nice!! I too like the look of the leaves in the bottom. You could add a nice sized piece of cork bark as a centerpiece. A couple live plants would look great in there too.

However I would think that the leaves would all start to rot ... at least in my enclosure. It's my understanding that these geckos like a decent amount of humidity and I spray mine twice a day.

How many white lines do you have? Are you planning on breeding them??

Dyesub Dave.

Hey Dave, i got like 20 meters of pure oak, so when the plants are staring to rot, i just take som new leafs, but they are quite good to resist the moist, I also used to use them for all my fish tanks (asian bio.)

and i mist mine between 2 and 4 times, depens on the temp, and season right now they are beeing mist, like 4 times, hopfuly it will get them startet.

But thank you very much for the nice words

I only got 1.1 at the moment, and im hoping that they will breed this year.
then i will keep a pair for my self.

update:
now i just need some new plants.

Yes ... I've heard that oak leaves are quite resiliant and great to use in aquariums as well. I also like the moss you have in there .. I haven't had much luck with moss yet but should be getting some new moss to try in the weeks to come.

My pair breeds all the time. I currently have 4 babies from them and 6 eggs left to hatch. Although one egg is passed it's prime and I'm concerned that it's not good anymore.

I have an UMBRELLA plant that grows quite well in the white line enclosure ... as well as some POTHOS, PEPEROMIA, SNAKE and RUBBER plants. I may have to see about getting some of the oak leaves now as well.

Anyways ... good luck with your pair and I hope to be hearing of eggs from them soon.

BTW - In case you weren't aware these geckos are GLUERS and will stick the eggs (in pairs) to the sides of your enclosure. From my experience they tend not to eat the babies but will often eat the eggs if they are no good.

Dyesub Dave.

Dave - the moss i use i've stolen from my mothers green house *gg*

last year i notised that there where some moss, and i asked her to leave it, so i could see if it would make the summer, and it did.
so im quite sure that it will make it in the viv also.

thanks for the info. i know they are gluers, but i dident knew that they would eat the bad eggs, thanks!

I've added a plant, i had as a left over from last time, i stille have some, but i want them to sit on the sites of the viv.
