I woke up last night because I heard a strange noise coming from the Tokay gecko's. A few weeks ago I added a male to my female but the sound I heard did sound like a mating call but not with the ''Tokkehhh......'' in it. I know how a Tokay call sounds and this was definitely not a normal call. It was kind of a screaming noise. Is it possible that my male isn't able to call properly? Is is still possible that they will mate despite my male couldn't eventually produce a proper call?
Thanks in advance !

I have a massive free roaming female that lives behind our fridge. We named her name is "Ajax" because she keeps the kitchen clean (no crickets on the loose anymore !). During the warmer months she lets out a series of long, wild sounding calls just as nightime approaches.
