Default New Tokays

Hello, this is my first post here. =) I got my first tokays on May 17th, I have tried to not mess with them much though. They are WC, so a bit skinny, but, I've been feeding them dusted roaches. I have them on paper towels as well.
I've named them Manic and Cinna. Supposedly they are male and female. I only just tried sexing the male tonight. But, pore sexing is not my thing, lol.
I was wondering if you guys could help?
This is the 'male.' The vent is at the top of the image(it's a bit dark around the edges =x ).

A shot of him biting, but that is a good thing.

He's roughly 9 inches long, so not full grown yet? Oh, and approximately 35grams, not sure how good of a weight that is for a tokay?

Here's the female. The foliage of her tank was taken out in this shot. She is a little bigger than Manic, but I haven't measured her yet.

I'll try getting more pics of the female later. She's quite a bit more aggressive(barks a lot more).

BTW, I am sorry about the flash, makes the images look bad. The bathroom lighting is pretty yellow, and muddles the colors up. But, the bathroom is the safest place to take them out. =x

Thanks for the help!

Congrats on your new Tokays and Welcome.
They look healthy, just need some more weight as I see...
The first one looks like a female to me actually, but can't really tell with that pic.
I'll be waiting for new and better ones hehe

Thanks! =)
Aww, darn. Well, I hope I still do have a pair. =x I'll work on better pics soon, just need to figure out how to get a better set up for taking pore shots(for both the tokays, and my crested geckos).

A direct light to the pores zone should work.

Default new tokays

Hi Guys
I am a complete newbie to the whole gecko thing & having been reading up on house maintenance diet etc failed to be aware that a tokay is the pit bull of Gecko,s thing is i bought him /her as a 1st gecko for my son & we are unable to handle him so would anyone be interested in doing a straight swap for a lepoard gecko??????????????.
We have had him for a little while now but my son is frightened of him even with the glove on so pulls away & the little fella could get hurt so i try to handle him but he is so fast short of emptying his tank evry time you can,t get near him.

Ok, turns out I somehow got the two mixed up whenever I got them. The 'male' was actually the female, and the 'female' was actually male. XD
Pore shot of the 'female.'
