Hello everyone,

About 2 months ago I purchased a golden gecko (later to be named Goldie). Goldie used to spend alot of his time on the screen top of the cage, or the top of the walls. However, recently Goldie is spending most of his day time and some of his night hours, in a wooden hide on the ground. Is there a reason to be concerned? He seems to be having trouble climbing, although I keep the humidity up and I don't think hes shedding.

Another issue is I have never seen him eat anything but baby food and some crested gecko food. I have caught him eating it by himself at night a few times, but not in the last few weeks. He will lick it off my finger or from a spoon in my hand if i Put it in front of him. Is it possible he has no interest in crickets, mealworms, etc? I am worried he hasnt been eating because the baby food doesnt look like he touched it when I check it in the morning. Anyone with experience with this wonderful species please let me know your thoughts. I miss my sporadic golden gecko who ran around and sat upside down on the screen!
