well first of all i hope u do not plan to put the two males into the same tank... that wont turn out pretty... one will probably die due to injury or stress...
The ceramic heat emitter should be fine as long as it is big enough to heat up the hot side to around 90^f.
I use a full glass enclosure for mine, but i dont think with tokays it really matters, as long as there is room for them to climb.
For a top, i Was on a budget and built one by hand instead of buying one, most major reptile companies make wire tops to fit most enclosures. Go to a hardware store and buy a fine mesh steel screen. Smallest i could find was 1/4" which i find perfect. 1/2" would be fine too. I built a thin wooden frame large enough to fit over the top snugly and then staped the screen into place with a staplegun, then put another thin layer over the screen to protect myself from the fine sharp edges of the screen, and to re-enforce it. i will get a couple pics if u want.
I keep my tank upright... with the screen on top to hold its a 25gal so there is lots of wall space for her to climb.
Hope i was of help and good luck with your new tokay
