Fish nets work sooooo well for catching fast geckos. I have one atleast in every room that i have reptiles in. Someones always trying to escape. Glad you got em! As for the ones that have climbed up into small spaces on the wal. Wait until night time when they are most active and go into every room with a flash light and scan thewalls. Once you spot them turn on the light and the chase begins. But seriously butterfly nets or large fish net work wonders.

i had escapes too however i handled that with an exoterra lamp that has a cover and the geckos found out that they can find heat and hide the same place. I caught this way two of my female geckos. I think if you have escapes you should try luring them somehow.

My white-lined got out and I lost him for two weeks! I found him as soon as the female died. Maybe they didnt like each other at all! Two weeks later, he was dead! Never buy geckos off the internet!

IMO if you do proper reseach of the animals you are buying, buy captive bred animals, properly sex them, and quarentine all new animals, there wouldnt be any problems. I buy and sell all types of reptiles on the internet and especially with the ones I sell there arent any problems. When I buy them I always ask for pictures, have the person guarrantee the sex and that they are cb. And I havent had any problems in years. Dont down internet sellers. Everyone has a part in responsible gecko buying.
