Default My Golden Geckos just broke out!

All 3 of em! Stupid things. I don't even know how they got out really.....I've found 2 and i'm currently chasing another......hah, it's currenty running around the living room as I type....

And yes, there all in the same tank....I have a mssive 125G for them and it seems they just stick to there own places. Each have there own territories and there have been little to no fights. A few at the beginning but it looks like all 3 now know where to go and where to not.....

Now here's the question, How can I catch an elusive Golden Gecko without ripping off it's tail? the other 2 were easy catches but this other one is a pain and keeps dodging me!

Is it climing the walls? When my tokay got out, I used a small plastic tank to cover it when it was on the wall, then slid some card underneath.

Good luck catching it,
Paul

I whould use a small sheet or something like that so you don't hurt you gecko trying to catch if you can get close to it.

My Tokay scaped from his tank twice. I think I was lucky to find him both of the times.

Good luck"

Got him early last night....He was trying to pounce on a house fly!

Well, i figured out how he got out.....there's a small gap on the lid to allow air in and out of the tank......so the humidity doesn't get too high.....They all just....squeezed through. Now I taped a big thing on the gap hat has tiny, tiny dots on it to allow for ventilation....

Default Pepe escaping

I am really not looking forward to whenever my white-lined gecko Pepe manages to get out of his terrarium. He has tried to escape a few times before when I lifted the terrarium lid and he happened to be right there at the top of the glass, but he tends to want to stay as far away from my hand as possible so I can easily change his mind. My concern wouldn't be trying to catch him as much as it would be trying to find him. I mean, how can you possibly find a small nocturnal gecko that climbs on walls? Not to mention these little guys can fit just about anywhere and are extremely sensitive to the slightest bit of movement. It was already hard enough trying to track down my basilisk when he got loose in the greenhouse. I would hate to discover just how many places Pepe could get to.
