Wow guys, thanks for all the replys. Actually Iīve never heard about dogs locking their jaws until the vet told me. Now I donīt know if he actually meant that they lock their jaws or if eh was telling me that they just have strong jaws that wonīt open easily if they donīt want to.
Anyway, I didnīt think tokays can do that either. Thatīs why I came here, to ask you guys. As Holocaustto asked me, Iīm hydrating him using fluid-therapy (I have no ideia whatīs the name in english, sorry) because he hasnīt eaten anything since I got him, and I strongly think he hasnīt been eaten for a while, even before that. So the vet thought it was better to hydrate him with fluid-therapy injections (does the word SORO makes any sense to you?? Really donīt know the word in english).
And yes, Iīm really concerned about him and took him to the vet yesterday. He will be there for the xrays and everything else that eventually needs to be done.
"where his eyes were actualy sucked in to his head" - yep thehotchik1000, thatīs what he looks like since he got back form the vet. It appears that heīs forcing his mouth shut all the time, and even though he is stressed due to the vet trips, changing owners, locations, etc.. I donīt see any real reason for him to do that, keep forcing his mouth shut like that.
Well, now all I can do is wait to see what the vet says. Iīll keep you all updated, thanks again for the replys and now Iīm absolutely sure that this "locked jaws" is a myth.
Later,
Daniel
