Default Officially Tokayaholic: Morphs

Ok my recent breeding successes with Tokays and my enjoyment of working with them has sent me over the edge. I think I'm now officially an addict. I had an opportunity to pick up some weird, naturally occurring wc Tokay morphs and I just couldn't pass it up. So here's a sampling of what I got:

'Dark-Spotted Blue-Headed Green' Female:

'Calico Cat' Male:

'Black-Spotted Black with Silver Head Pattern' Male:

'Yellow-Spotted Black' Female:

I am now officially so happy and so poor.

Allow me to be the first to commend you on your awesome new additions!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am also getting more fond of the Tokays. Let me know when you hatch babies from any of these!

And not just the same new-old morphs, These are some nice looking creatures. I especially like 3, and 4.

Keep up the good work!

Timm

Very cool, I am kinda digging the last one there! When you say naturally occuring are these just freak mutations or are these locales?

David, wow, those are all great looking! All very unique. Congrats on the fantastic pick up! Now these will be REALLY interesting to see what proves out and what doesn't.

@ Derek - there's some debate as to what's what with the tokay "morphs". Some of them are certainly simple recessive morphs. Others are likely subspecies or locale specific variations. Some may simply be flukes that happen from incubation temps, etc. Time will tell. I think what he meant by "naturally occuring" is that they're WC's...so they haven't been manipulated by breeding one morph to another, etc.

Very Cool David! I love the odd looking ones. I have a super dark blue with orange to red spot female. Those are all lookers. I too have openly admitted being addidcted. We should start a support group!
