I've never heard of any morphs of golden geckos. I'd certainly be interested in any info on them if they actually exist though.

As Ethan said I'm pretty sure there isn't any, at least in captivity. Start looking if its of such a big interest you'd be amazed at what a little research can land you. Like there are a few different morph/local's of white lined geckos.

There are differently looking goldens in the trade which may represent different locales.
While most goldens do have the typical banded appearance, some come in, which look more like spotted and thus have an appearance quite similar to G. petricolus (but they still clearly are not this species). Moreover, goldens from some imports are more yellowish than greenish as most goldens are. Also there is a potentially population dependent difference in size. Whereas most goldens do not exceed 10", I have seen imports, where most males were close to 12". Does not sound like much of a difference, but since these animals also seemed to be of a heavier built, they looked much bigger than your typical golden gecko. I doubt that those were just very old animals, since the shipment sizewise looked quite homogeneous. So there is still room for surprise and research on different locales.

P.S.: Also look at this golden I found on the internet:

I agree. I'm about 99% positive that is not Gekko ulikovskii. I actually think I have seen that species before, I'll have to take some time to look it up. Body shape is all wrong and markings are nothing like a golden.

OK, I was too quick with my googling. This one may in fact be a mis ID. To me it looks like a pale R. sarasinorum.
