Default Dog - Tokay communication???

I'm just sitting here at my computer doing some work. My tokay enclosure is next to me. My dog is laying at my feet. My dog lets out a long groan/growl sort of noise. And my tokay responds with an almost identical sound!!! I never knew that my dog spoke tokay...or maybe the tokay speaks mastiff? Whatever the case, it was pretty funny.

Awesome. You're well on your way to producing the first Tokay-Mastiff hybrids. Good luck with that!

Could be that the dog's groan is at a frequency tokays recognize as one of their own calling? I've heard tokays, so it's not hard to imagine.

But, what's really happening is definitely a conspiracy. I'll be watching the I Has A Hotdog! site for breaking news and pictures, maybe even the video.

I think that's pretty much it.
Actually I've kind of learned it too. Sometimes I imitate the Tokay sound and get mine to call. If not, at least he looks for another tokay all around...

I have a female tokay, so once my friends were at my place. I told them that male tokays do some sort bark when they want to mate with female, so one of my friends tooked it too seryosly and he started barking like a male. We all were laughin but then female get's out from her shelter and she was like 100 % interested in my friend as a potential tokay male ... so that's the funny story too . TO-KE TO-KE TO-KE TO-KE ...
