[Toquai]

Hello Everyone.

After the responsibility dispute between everyone in my life, I went ahead and got a tokay gecko. Stunner, 20 dollars, sickter looking.. sold! Did my research.. everyone just blames them for being aggressive. In my eye's, they're just misunderstood! So I got this gecko thingy, and I named it Taj, after Taj Mahal, a pop singer from a while back. Had a record of his. I was convinced it was a duder! And he loved to hang from stuff, and pose! So cool! So After A few bites and what not, we got to be best friends. So I get curious a few days ago, and I'm like.. hmm. is it a duder? So, I get a gulp cup from 711, snag taj and go over to the exotic pet store. They were impressed with her nature! She was so kind, however they blamed her to be sick. Go figure, I found out she was a girl! This gal is not sick. She merks crickets daily, and just shed another coat. Looks sooo pretty now.

Also, while I was at the store. The guy had a male tokay! So I picked another one up, he was only 15. And is still very fiesty!! I'm working with him though, petting him. Taj wags her tail now when i pet her so.. shes on her way to being fully domesticated with perks!


My intentions are purely to breed the most elaborate craziest concoctions of these little guys, because they, hands down, intrigue me!


Right now, I have them both in an octogonal type compartment, got it from a garage sale. Sick for one. But I'm building something quite crafty by the weekend. Had the petco dirt stuff, turned to mud trying to get it to hold humidity. So I layed down paper towels for now before the change.

They're great together, they crawl all over each other. Hes a bit protective, and shes a show off for him. Wink Wink
