Default First Tokay

Hello!

I purchase may first Tokay a week ago.
Well i dont know what sex it is, so he-she is got no name.
I think is a girl, 14 months old, if someone could confirm on first atach.

He-she is wery shy, hiding all day in many covers in 90 gallon terrarium (atach2), coming out only at night.
When he-she see me, instantly runs to hide.
I hope he-she is eating crix i put in terrarium, ididnt find eny dropings. Heard it takes two weeks for Tokay to accustom to new setup?

Ani comments, or suggestions ?

Grga.

Nice tokay and REALLY nice set-up! As my friend above said, it's hard to tell its sex from those photos. If you post a couple more of the cloacal area we can probably make a good guess.

Hi

Congrats on the Tokay!

He looks healthy and you have a great setup! He's a very lucky gecko!

PS. As Nathan already mentioned it looks like you might be using sand for substrate? If so i'd also recommend changing it simply because it won't help with humidity levels and could potentially cause impaction. Other than that it looks awesome!

Thank you all for replay and compliments.

I didnt use any substrate at all, its a piece of cork tile.(attac.1)
I use it at my phelsuma setup too.

Maybe this pic would show more about sexing, its a same pic just a closer look?(attac,2)

At least it aint sand but does it hold any moisture??
And as for the sex it looks female but once again its still hard to tell from that angle a frontal view would be much better.
