Exclamation Golden Gecko layed surprise eggs

Hello everyone, I am brand new to this site. I have a 3 goldens, 2 of which I rescued from the SPCA. I purchase a female to see if I would be able to get them to breed. (Yes I have the two males separated). They have been together for over a year and showed no interest in each other.

I came home from a night away and much to my surprise there are two eggs attached to the side of their home.

Now I am asking for some help, I realize that they are similar, and that the eggs are going to be maintained at a constant temp, what I would like to know is the following....
- is there an ideal temp?
- is there an ideal humidity level?
- how do I protect the eggs from the parents (I saw one pic where someone taped a plastic baggie around the eggs????)
- do I move the adults out?

Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Back when I had egg gluers (who were prone to eating their eggs) I would tape a dixie cup over the eggs to protect / hide them from the parents and then remove the babies once they hatched. It worked great for me. I haven't had goldens so I'm not sure how good they are as parents, but you have nothing to lose by protecting the eggs.

Hi,
After doing some more searching and talking on some different forums I have discovered that the Goldens are very similar to Tokays and that after they have layed their eggs you should cover them with a dixie cup or something like that, and try to maintain the humidity in their around 80%, then when they hatch in about 3 months time (dependent on temps), remove babies immediately for protection.

Thanks for your response.
