Exclamation Something wrong with Samara?!

I've noticed in the last couple of days that the area around the back of her neck, where her "ear vents" are (the ones that would allow you to see through the gecko), there are now little bulges. Instead of having a steamlined neck to jaw like you see in most pictures, she now has some significant bulging in that area, its very noticeable. She always had a little bit more there than I've seen in most pictures, but I blew it off as it didn't seem to bother her, and from what I can see in some pictures, some tokays did have it. Now they are quite pronounced, I am concerned.

Any recommendations on what could be causing it? I will definitely take her into the vet again, but if I can spare her the trauma because its something that is completely natural and I'm overreacting, I would really like to. Its not a happy day for anyone, least of all the vet, when Samara has to be removed from her environment and subjected to a vet visit.

As always, pictures would be helpful. Is she housed alone?
