Hi,
I have owned 2 tokays for over a month now and i havnt killed them yet. i saw them at a flea market and couldnt stand to leave them.besides,ive wanted one FOREVER but dont find them in pet stores. I can google my life away and guess what to beleive or i can ask an owner. tony is my profile picture and hes the nicer. lilith is the one who hides all the time and tries to bite me all the time. not a big fan. but shell get used to me right? thats what im asking,
are they ever gonna like me the way a beardie does?
how do you determine sex if they quit hanging on glass to go in a hide box?
what if i cant get them to eat out of a dish? but dislike crickets in the house.
are they a normal tokay or something different?
i am pretty confident i can keep them happy but a conversation would help.

You can try having a conversation with them, but I don't know how much it'll help. They're from asia and probably don't speak english. And they tend to be grumpy no matter what you say to them.

really, i have no idea where to post/blog/whatever, im forum illiterate.
and i know my lilith and tony dont talk back, but tony does like to attack the tank at my side while im on the laptop. i firgure hes a hippy and likes the pretty colors.
and for anyone else of the human variety,
i could use advice based on my posts/blog or OMG i cant use this,,,
im sure if you are smarter than me you can look up my profile and what ive written, i am currently taking with wide open arms advice on forum posting and tokay lighting, feeding, coloring, and gender. i know theres nothing really more to these guys than moisture and a full belly but curiosity killed the cat you know.

im not sure how serious you were tokeh. we are remodeling / renovating a 1900square feet house. They are currently in a 1200 square foot home and if the pictures did post correctly then you might also be seeing my sisters carnivorous fish collection. very well treated as you can see.the iguana is in a 70 gallon tank and all beardies are in 55's. i believe my tokays are in a 35 bofront? im not an aquarium person, i usuallly see it and say to myself 'oh, i bet _____ would like a much bigger house.' im not a pro at all but i do make sure all are happy.BTW i also have 2 children, a goldfish tank, a guinea pig,and a dog.we all fit comfortably in our home/office.

there you can see most of our animals and two weeks ago we bought a Green Water Dragon.
we are also renovating our house. its from 1850
there are comming a lot of terra/vivs in it.
i dont know the measures in feet only in cm.
i'm also gonna make a gekko room because i want to breed them and do a lot of research on them.
