I have not much doubts that this is possible.
My oldest tokay was imported in 1993 as a large adult. He is now almost 17 years in captivity and IŽd say at least 19 years old. Since 2008 however, eggs from his two females (8 and 10 years old) are no longer fertilized.
Otherwise, he still looks healthy and is agile- but he also seem to gradually get thinner.
I know of at least one other tokay keeper, who is experienciong the same for his old tokays: Geckos do and look fine, but do not produce any offspring anymore.
