Got my first two eggs today from a new pair I put together about 6 weeks ago. It'll be interesting to see what this pair produces...probably just normal tokays but who knows?
Dam:
(this photo is the day I got her so she's relatively skinny and was sold to me as a male!)
Sire:
(hard to know what to call him; he's a faint powder blue - I usually call him my "Dilute" male)
Egg-cellent!!! The male looks as if he has gray eyes. Is that just the lighting or are they really different than normal? I love that female. Looks like this is going to be a good season for cbb tokay morph babies hatching out. Should make for some interesting stuff popping up since the way the genetics work in most of the morphs hasn't been explored very deeply yet. Congrats on the eggs David! And post pics up when they hatch out

The male does indeed have steely gray eyes. He's a very strange Tokay alternating between a dilute blue-gray color and almost white. But his spots always stay prominent. This is the first time I am artificially incubating the eggs as opposed to leaving them in the cage (because she layed them on the ground and I was concerned about them being trampled by the Tokays and more importantly possibly nibbled on by crickets) so hopefully that will work out!
