Default Scars?? Tokay

Hi there!
Not a long time ago I noticed some strange marks on my Tokays face.
Are these scars of any kind of wound I didn't notice? (weird, because I check him daily). Any kind of fungus? ...

Info:
I donīt have any heating lamp inside so he didn't burn.
It is there before the Earthquake.

Before (a month ago):

Now:

(At night it seems to become darker... broken glass = f****n earthquake)

Any ideas?
I'll wait until he sheds again and see what happens anyway.

If you hadn't said there was no heat lamp, my guess would have been burns. My second guess is that perhaps there was some left over shed that has developed some sort of fungal or bacterial growth under it? I think that, as long as it doesn't continue to spread, wait and see what happens when he sheds next. Glad to hear that you came out of the earthquake with minimal damage!

I guess I'll have to wait a little bit...

Very strange. Is it housed alone? I was thinking maybe some cagemates got in a little fight?

The other thing I would ask is whether those are really scars? That is, are they raised and scabby? It looks from the picture like it could also just be the development of spots of black pigmentation? I have had this occur in some of my Tokays, most notably to my favorite leucistic that was pure white when obtained and now has a single, rather large black spot on its back!

I just called them scars because I couldn't find a better word in my pour English vocabulary hahaha
He is caged alone. Take a close look to the last picture, it does look like some kind of skin injury more than pigmentation.
About this "That is, are they raised and scabby? " Sorry, I don't understand that Cuold you put in another words?

In that bottom pic, it looks to me like dead skin. Like you could almost scrape it off if you tried.

Yes it does look like retained shed. Try upping the humidity a bit and if thet doesnt work Ive had alot of success using mineral oil on a cotton swab. Just dab it on the area, make sure to be careful of his eyes, and to not put too much on.
Hope this helps
