Do White lined Geckos sleep???

Default Do White lined Geckos sleep???
I have had my vittatus for 4 months now, I have never seen him with his eyes closed. I presume they sleep with their eyes open?

THey can't close their eyes. I guess they do rest, just like fish do... but SLEEP, I don't know...

I think every animal needs to sleep. So, I think they sleep, but they sleep with their eyes open, like my aunt.

I don't know about white lined but cresteds eyes go in a bit and the crests go over the eyes, maybe whitelines do the same except the crests?
