I'm very noob to breeding geckos, i had 2 eggs and protected them with a plastic box and kept them humidified in the vivarium. 1 has hatched. my question is what to do now? I have read that whitelines are nurchering and will not hurt the young. if and when the other egg hatches can i release them to the rest of the enclosure? also how to feed them? flightless fruit flyes? or pinheads?
I'd play it safe and separate the babies from the parents. If the parents haven't been tending the eggs, they may not even recognize the babies as theirs. I've always had better luck with appropriately sized crickets than fruit flies.
