Default Catchting Tokay Geckos

There have been spottings of day geckos in a certain area near my house. Are there any tips as to catching Tokay Geckos? Should i go at night? Any tips to finding them and also catching them would be awesome!

What part of Southern Fl. are you in? I have only seen about a dozen and only caught two. That was about 5 years ago in extreme south Miami. One of my buddies has also seen them in the keys, but I don't remember which one. The ones I caught are still with one of my old friends to this day. I saw all of mine on Stucco walls under parking lot lights. I would just sit still next to the wall where I spotted them the night before and pounce when ready. I suffered a few battle scars from the catches, but it was fun overall. I also caught a few other gecko species during this trip on the same walls, but most were small house geckos of two different types.
