Default My new Tokay hatchlings

Since it's sibling has hatched and the premature baby has lived 8 days now, I'll announce it along with it's sibling hatched about 2 hours ago!

This little bugger entered the world early from a bump to it's egg while I was cleaning Storm's tank. Instead of letting me close the shell since the inner skin was undamaged around it, it burst out into the world leaving a good sized yolk sac behind. I'd been rather worried and contacted Cliff and was told to do nothing out of the ordinary and if it lasted a day it should be fine. Well it's now been 8! Here is AS-03, photos from five days after hatching, incubated for 130 days and hatched at 1.6 grams. Thanks Cliff, for your advice!

And here is AS-04 not even out of it's first shed, incubated 138 days, and hatched at 2.4 grams.

I am glad to see it is doing good. There is normally not alot you can do for a tokay that hatches premature but he must of been right there getting ready to hatch anyways./
