Hello there first post so hi everybody! Right and to the question I have one vittatus male and today moved him into a new exo terra 24x18x24, alongside this I bought a female today and introduced them both at the same time so no territory issues within 10 minutes of putting them together the male was barking and trying to mount the female. What I'm confused about is the female started to vibrate all over and I didn't know if this was a good or a bad thing, and since then she has bit him once on the tail and once on the leg, is this just like a back off I don't want any action or is she bullying? Bit long winded I know but any help would be much appreciated, thankyou

Andy, I have a male and female also. The male does bark and bite the female. Seems like that's normal. I have not ever heard my female bark or bite back. I'm not sure if the female is stressed by this, I have had them together for about 3 months now. As you can see from the picture, they do get along sometimes.
The male is on the bottom.

well yours certainly seem to be getting on
thanks for the reply though they seem be getting on ok now, i think maybe she just took offence at his amorous advances, either that or she wears the trousers in the relationship
havent seen any biting since (touchwood) it was just the rapid vibrating she was doing that threw me
