My tokay just took a huge step towards the path of being somewhat tame. He let me pet the top of his head inside his cage without barking biting or huffing and puffing.

Now either hes adapting to me or hes sick. Cause you know what they say A happy Tokay is a unhappy tokay.

I feel ya, mine allows me to pet her on the head but that's it. She has an open mouth, but doesn't make any noises or attempts to bite unless I try to pick her up
