Nice looking tokay. Looks like you're doing a good job with him.

thank you very much that means a lot . i never tire of his call even if it is in the middle of the night. He is certainly a big eater and i hope to get a roach colony soon so i'll move him on to them

Wow, he's beautiful! I need to fatten my Tokays up... I got them 2 days ago and their previouse owner didn't take very good care of them. = ) Thank you for sharing your pictures.

what I've done previously is chilled the crickets in the fridge. this slows them down and allows the vitamin supplement to stick better. then i just put them in a tub in the viv and allowed the gecko to find them at his own leisure. this meant he ate every single one and really put on weight. However now i just chuck them in because it's fun to watch him hunt and he has gotten quite good at it. Pinkies also work a treat in fattening up your tokays, but feed in moderation. hope this helps

I actually tried feeding them pinkies last night and all they did was kill them. Their previouse owner did tell me they ate mice. Maybe they just need to get use to adapt to their new environment and to their new owner. Check my pictures out and tell me what you think. They do look thin... = ( Well I only have pictures of one because the other tends to hide all day. Thank you so much! What is a good powder to dust their crickets?

any multi vitamin supplement should do well. make sure it contains calcium and d3 and dust them every other feeding. they do look a bit thin. maybe take them to a vet as they maybe carrying parasites or worms. i don't know what anyone else would do but that's my personal opinion

Awesome, I am going to look for a reptile specialist right no. I live in SD so it shouldn't be hard to find one. Thank you!
