Thats a beautiful and healthy tokay you have there! My female tokay just passed away after a long battle of trying to rehabilitate her. The previous owners didnt take care of her and i suspect she was wild caught. But anyways awesome Tokay!

I'm sorry to hear that . Well he was in a smaller tank as we are going on holiday to costa rica and leaving them with friends of ours. still an exo terra 18x18 cube for 2 weeks, i think he can cope! But that's why he was so pissed . I had just managed to prize him from his beloved bamboo which wouldnt fit in the viv lol. He has loads of cover yet chooses to stay out in the open 24/7 without his bamboo he still eats like a champ and barely shows that colour, always that lovely blue so i don't think he's stressed out, he is certainly getting a lot more confident

Ehh when aren't tokays pissed? Haha.
I just bought a breeding pair of captive bred tokays and they are eating like pigs. The female latched onto my hand earlier and left a nasty bite but hey, thats what tokays are good at!

mine isn't usually pissed cos he can always hide in his bamboo. he's not agressive just defensive
