I have one that looks like those too. Powder blue w/ orange spots. Don't know what you might call that. But certainly not "normal". High orange I suppose.

Very cute and pretty, but I agree that they look normal still. The bold spots on extra light body is what I see in my males, but the darkened state is common of my females. I don't want to post pictures without permission since this isn't my thread.

Have you found any pattern in color development yet in what they will turn into in a few months and what older siblings have become?

Hey post any photos you like - my thread is your thread

I've seen many very different patterns of color development in my calico-line babies. At this point I honestly really haven't figured out how to predict (or if it's even possible to predict) what they'll turn into from phases they go through early on.

I'm really excited to follow my Dilute x Leucistic babies and see if anything weird happens with them!

You just started that project though, right? I'm pretty hyped myself since Black Frost has finally started calling! I can't wait for little black and blue Tokies! Though I have to wait for next year to put my Powder Blue girl with him because shes a bit too small for breeding now.

3 of my calico x calico tokays (which are from the same parents as the ones pictured above) have at this point pretty much turned dark green. I haven't given up on them changing more though. I have a feeling that some of these traits like calico might take months to manifest, or take years depending on the individual animal. What I'm really excited to try is (calico x calico) x (calico x calico) to see what pops out. And I'm also dying to do a (calico x calico) x (dilute x leucistic) to see what that might produce. Just need to get my hands on one of those dilute x leucistics now

You have some competition for that, my friend.
