My gecko fell about five feet and when it hit the ground it no longer moved its back legs and its tail was spazzing out. Now it is sitting in its cage. it can still move and everything, and it is acting pretty normal. BUT its back legs are not moving. Is he okay? What happened? What can I do?

At the moment the best thing you can do is to leave it alone and observe it for a while. Anything else will just add more stress to the situation. Hopefully his back legs will start working again. If not, there's probably not much you can do for him.

Do you have an exotics vet in your area who treats geckos? If you are not sure, check out http://herpvetconnection.com. It is best to get the little one checked out by a vet, it might be serious, or it might be something that could be fixed like a dislocated hip...but you will not know without a vet examining the little one. Go to a vet ASAP, if its a dislocated hip or any other joint the sooner its put back in place the better, my ex girlfriend had some real problems with one shoulder that keept getting dislocated, and it got harder to get it back the longer its been out of place, i guess its the same thing with reptiles and humans on that point, go get your gecko checked NOW!
