Exclamation Can white lines imitate sounds?

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with white lines imitating sounds, from their surroundings? (spelled?)
Has anyone ever heard them make noice, other than the normal ones?

I found an adult one at a local pet shop, and all he did was bite me!
I'm sold on him though, I'ma probably get him with my next check....
Hopefully he'll make some sort of noise. If so, I'll PM you about it.

Lightbulb Pepé mimicking dripping water?

If that peeping sound I hear on some nights is Pepé, then I believe they can and do imitate other sounds. There is a leak in the greenhouse roof and we have a pail on the floor under it to gather the water. The peeping sound (I think) Pepé is making sounds a lot like that so it is possible he may hear the dripping water and is trying to imitate it.

I asked because I was woken up the other night, by something that sounded like a dog whimpering.
I thought it was the dog, which would have been very unusual, but he was in the bedroom, and the sound came from the other end of the house, where the terrarium is. So I got up and sneaked in, but didnt get a chance to get the cam, before they stopped.. I am 100% certain that it was them, and I am a curious about their sounds. I havent been able to find any soundclips..

Thats why I asked..

As far as I know the only sounds they are supposed to make are something like a chirping..
