As a tokay breeder. I don't
Try and tame my little ones bit bc I upkeep weight checks and daily cleaning, monitoring etc the babies and juvies are alot easier to handle. Generally my single animals are 60-75.00 depending one which one, color, and pattern desity etc. But when you get a cb reptile, not even just toks but any you're really paying for the peice of mind to know that you will have no parasite problems or acimating issues. Wc's are always infected with major or minor parasitic
And other health issues. They can be hard to acclimate for a brand new owner, and will always be disgruntled and flighty. What I recommend when someone gets one of my juvies is to let them be for a month, just so they get comfortable with their new home and owner, after slowly start trying to see how comfortable that animal Is with you. Like how close can you get in cleaning the cage to the gecko without them running and barking at you? If you can get within even an inch of them then I'd say they are pretty comfy with you and their home. After that if you still really want to handle him, and it's always good to know you can in case of emergencies, and medical things as well as cage maintenance. You could do so starting slowly, but if you were to see any changes stop. But in the end I prefer to not stress them out
If it's not needed. Hope this I'd helpful
