Question Help with White Lined Gecko

I recently went to look at buying a used 75 gallon tank for my Bearded Dragon, and ended up comming home with this White lined gecko as well.
I do not know how to properly care for the lil guy, other than what I have read in the last 2 days.

I took him because he was in a very dirty tank, that was too cold, and he had dog hair stuck to his body... The tank they had him in had a day bulb, that was kept on 24/7.

So, I brought him home, and put him in a nice clean tank setup.
He is in a 20 gallon, eco earth substrate, has a cave, and plants, shallow water dish, and a night bulb for heat.

The temp. is staying good at 80* or better, but I cannot get the humidity to stay at all. I am misting his tank about every 2 hours, cuz the humidity level drops out to non exsistant...

What do I do for this?

A few notes on how we keep ours;
Temps: 90F - 80F day down to 80F - 75F night, we use one 11" 20w flexwatt section on top of 20 extra tall vertical conversion enclosures to provide this temperature gradient. A slight reduction of 5F for all temps in winter.

Humidity: Allowed to range from the high 90s down to low 60s, when the humidity meter reads 60 I water the plants which brings the humidity enclosure wide up to the high 90s for a week or two. As the humidity drops a natural humidity gradient is formed.

Diet: They eat CGD and various insects. Offer insects in the very early morning or after you notice them becoming active in the evening. Lightly mist every evening and morning if glass is condensation free. Adjust feeding if weight gain is excessive or the gecko is underweight.

Supplements: All insects are gut loaded and dusted with Ca+D3 cut 50/50 with plain Ca at every feeding. We dont use vitamin powder, our gut load formula takes care of that.

Housing notes: Keep just one per enclosure if you are going to use 20g aquariums, except when breeding. Larger enclosures will be used by this and most other Gekko species.

WC: Get a fecal sample done at the very least, if possible have a full vet check done to aid in getting the gecko established.
