Default Tokay group from Holland presents itself

Here are some pictures of my Tokay group. They are two females and a male, all are - as far as I can tell - in very good health.
They behave very politely, letting me clean their tank without foaming at the mouth. The male is growing at a frightening rate however, and has jaws like, well... Jaws!
Anyway, I love these little dragons to death, and hope to post more interesting pictures in the future, hopefully including some offspring.

One of the female just before shedding.

The same female, just minutes after shedding her skin. I think I like her colour and pattern the best of all three animals.

You simply cannot resist that lovely smile, can you? You can observe it best at close range, just before they go for the throat, haha.

On of the females surprised me with two eggs last week. Unfortunately, the other female was not amused, and ate the eggs a couple of hours later...

Just to show that they two females get along very well normally, this cute shot of them...

And another cute one... who says that Tokay's are full of aggression? Just look at them and melt away...

Again, the two females in better times... they are friends again though, only one hour after the egg incident they were cosily sleeping next to each other.

The male, a week after I got him. Now (two months later) he has grown quite a bit, is developing a foul temper, and I love every intimidating inch of him! I've called him Baraka.

Gerard ~

Thanks for sharing these photos! I especially love the "huggy" shot of your females sleeping side by side.

Aw that's a bummer that the other female ate her eggs :/ That happened to me last year. One female ate all of my other female's eggs. That's like four clutches eaten :/ Hopefully I'll have better luck this year, and hopefully you don't have anymore clutches eaten either

Nice animals. But I guess it goes without saying that if you (ForestSounds and Rhacman) want to successfully produce babies you'll either need to separate the females or get a humongous cage when they can basically set up territories that are mostly or completely non-overlapping.

Thanks! That's pretty much what I figured. And since I only have one male, I'd rather keep them all together. Since last year, I have moved them into an enclosure with about double the vertical space, so hopefully it'll help a little lol.
