Default Blue headed green gene?

I have noticed that in England the most common morph is the blue headed green. I have also heard that both that and the powder blue gene are the same gene? if this is true and if bred 2 blue headed greens could I possibly produce some powder blues? is it completely random which one you end up with? any information on this gene would be great!

all the best

Tom

They are two separate genes. I bred an olive to a powder and got all olives. I now have been breeding my dh Lucy/ powder to a powder male and have gotten a powder blue. You will get all olives with breeding two of them together. Good luck!
