Default Mouth Rot?

My white lined gecko had an infection about 6 months ago that I don't think ever went away entirely. He used to take baytril for his previous infection, will this work just as well again? His mouth is REALLY swollen and there is white puss on the inside of his mouth and throat. I just got back in town and saw it like this. I haven't tried to feed him yet so I don't know if he is eating. His skin feels very dry and hard.

Temp: Day time ranges from 80-85 and night time is 70-75.
Humidity: 70% or more
Food: Gut loaded crickets
Substrate: Coconut fiber bedding (just switched to this kind)

I am attaching pictures that aren't too great, you can't see all the puss on the inside. Please help.

Do you dust the crickets as well? Any other food items?

I'd get him to a vet as soon as possible. Old antibiotics aren't going to do you much good. You need to give a full round to make them useful.

I gutload the crickets with high potentcy fine bird food and usually apple or strawberries. I know it sounds weird but my vet has done a bunch of studies on it and found that the bird food provides more vitamins and calcium than all other methods combined. I was advised to use a specific brand of bird food. I had him at the vet about 4 months ago and there weren't any deficiencies then. I haven't changed anything in his diet since then.

I picked up a new and fresh dose of baytril today. I am hoping it will work. I spent about $400 on vet bills trying to get him better at the beginning of the year and my financial situation has changed alot since I bought him. right now, I don't have the money to take him back right now.

Have betadyne handy as well. Rake a qtip and dip it into the betadyne 2 x a day and rub it on the infected areas to clean them.
