Hello Everyone,

I just got my 1st tokay gecko today and I have moved him to a better place. This gecko is roaming around the house for a year now. We captured it yesterday because it went into an open space and we capture it and make it a pet.

Some source in the internet gives idea on how to feed it. I have bought superworms in local pet store. Yesterday I have been trying to feed it with superworm but it doesn't eat them.

I would like to ask for some help on how to feed my gecko. Is there any effect from being in wild(from our house) and placing it in a aquarium care and making it a pet. Does it affect its appetite ? Or I am just feeding it with wrong food. Is it also okay to feed it with chicken liver?

I hope I would get lots of ideas.

It's amazing how many people from the Philippines we suddenly have coming on here asking the same exact questions over and over again. Instead of capturing it, set it free back into it's natural environment. It will find it's own food in the wild (which most likely will not be chicken livers).

+1 on that. Let it go. It's a wild animal. Whenever people ask about chicken livers I know for a fact what the situation is.

Don't get me wrong, I don't ever like to turn away someone truly in need of help for their animal. But this whole thing is getting ridiculous. The only help these tokay need is help being set free from people who are only going to sell them to be eaten. You won't get it here from me.

I appreciate your comments. But we didn't capture this and sell. I do believe that some people here in my country sell them for path of cash. But in my case I am not selling this gecko. Thanks
