Question Might of been suckered 8/22/2011

Seller told me it was a male. I know you're supposed to look for a waxxy substance on the pores but seller said they don't develop those till they are alittle bigger. It is about 7" TL.

What do you'll think, male or female?

Male 100%. He's not of breeding age. That's why he doesn't have any wax. He'll start developing that when he starts calling.

Thanks for response.

Can you help tell me what to look for when it comes to younger animals?

BTW should I get a fecal check for it even though it's eating fine? On the first day I offered it half a dozen crickets and they were all gone by morning. Today I added a few more and it was hunting and eating them fine.

Thanks

Hello,

Looks male. As for the exam, I'd never say no to a new animal especially if it is a LongTermCaptive or fresh import.

Enjoy,

Michael
