thanks for your help taking everythig in cosideration hey my hot side is 92 at the basking spot I use a ceramic heater on the cool side its 76 im asking bc my tokay isnt eating as much as normal I read that it could be bc he can sense its winter where i live any ideas
If your tank is as long as it is tall, I suppose it won't matter if you turn it vertical. Hopefully you'll be able to get something larger down the road. There's a million reasons why your tokay may not be eating well. My first concern would be parasites. Most wild caught tokays are loaded with them. Have you had a vet run a fecal test?

no i have not but i've had him bout 6 mounths before he ate like crazy but he was skinny now he's fatter an it seems like he just picks em off from time to time idk if that helps any
