Default im gonna add a golden gecko to my collection.

Is a 30g tall tank good for 1 golden gecko? Or should i buy bigger? Thanks

Remember they are arboreal so they like to stay up vs down.....well I say that but I have one thats always up on ledges and stuff and my new guy seems to prefer the ground more. LOL

Thats good enough. You should not have any issues in keeping your gecko in that tank for its lifespan.

Yes bigger is better like people say, but when you are strapped for space and cannot accomdate a huge tank for a little gecko, your tank will do fine. Not only do fine, but it will be perfect for its entire lifespan. You will not need to upgrade to a bigger size, unless you want to, or want to add more geckos.

If you haven't purchased anything yet, I'd go with something like a Zoo med or exo-terra. They're made for herps, not fish. And they're much better shaped/proportioned for an animal like a gekko. You can get them at your local petsmart/petco type store or online.
Petsolutions usually has them on sale and they'll give you free shipping on orders over $49.
